Taitokerau taitamariki share their thoughts on key issues

We sat down with these students from Tikipunga High School to hear their thoughts on transport, food security, financial security, housing and education in Northland.

The number of young people experiencing poverty is increasing in Aotearoa - and in Taitokerau.

We are proud supporters of the Child Poverty Action Group kaupapa, and recently sat down with taitamariki in our region to hear their thoughts on some key issues including education, financial security, food security, housing and transport. 

In our mahi as a social support and  community law provider, we take care to listen to the needs of those in our communities, no matter what their age so we can keep our country’s policy and decision-makers informed of the issues we are seeing.

It is a privilege that whānau trust us enough to tell us their stories of hardship and success so we can support them with their sovereignty.
